Chapter 45: spirits
Radha also felt comfortable in the hands of Chandu as she slowly fell
into sleep without the nightmares.

In the morning next day, Radha woke up early as usual for going to work.
But when she woke up she was in the embrace of strong hands of Chandu.
His hands are on her meat buns holding them tightly.
Radha's face blushed and did not dare to move as if not to awake Chandu.
The entire thing is peaceful so she slowly enjoyed the moment of peace.
Chandu was already awake and sensing that Radha was resting peacefully
he held her even tightly to make her feel more comfortable.
After fondling her meat buns for a little while Chandu woke up and gave
a slight kiss on her cheek.

Chandu took out his phone and ordered some foods that they liked
previously which were a luxury then.
But now with enough money Chandu is not afraid to stretch out his hands
and feet a little.
Soon after, the food was delivered and Chandu paid the cash on hand.
In the mean time Chandu washed himself and Radha was also done with her
daily cleaning.
There is not much talk as they ate the food.
Radha has a little satisfied expression on her face as she ate the food.
The food they ate daily is the economical food that did not have much
taste or nutrients.
It was just enough to fill their bellies to work for the next day.
Because of this reason Radha and Chandu were on the thin side.
After they filled their stomach Chandu suggested that they have to go to
chaos zone or out of the city to hunt some monsters.
Radha looked a little reluctant and Chandu found the reason for this
easily.
Radha was also an awakened person but her skill is related to plant
growth with the blessing the earth goddess Bhumi.
She can control the plants if she was able to get a plant spirit and
improve her level.
The spirits comes in many forms especially for the plant side of
adventurers.
The spirit beads that Chandu bought yesterday are where these spirits
can be obtained.
But chance of getting them is very less.
The other way is for the adventurer of the plant based skill to find
some plant type monsters and subdue them.
The condition is that they should not be chaos monsters but monsters
that moved out of the influence of the chaos zone.
Also if that is a chaos monster killing it can also have a chance of obtaining
a seed of that plant based monster and obtain the plant based spirit.
Even though they were called a spirit, if they are of the pet or
independent fighter class spirit then they can have real body.
Some records say that high level spirits can even develop feelings and
can even betray their masters if their bonding was broken.
The bonding details will be mentioned in the master’s status panel.
After obtaining some high level spirits or pets through spirit beads
people can sell them at the trade centers of the city.
But there are special cases called the life bonding and these spirits
cannot be traded unless that person possessing the spirit was killed.
There are many of such cases so most people without any background were
dead, some were cautious enough to hide and powerful people used them to boast.
There is a limit to number of spirits a person can host.
The spirits can level up too but no all spirits.
Most of the spirits are fixed at a specific level.
Also in spirits there are weapon spirits that can be combined with a
specific weapon to boost their power.
There are spirits that can be combined with the body of the adventurer
to give extra features like wings, thorns, claws…..
Similarly there are many kinds of spirits.
But the amount of obtainable spirits is very low.

Yesterday chandu found some good spirit beads and there can be a plant
based spirit.
But he cannot use them here so as not to reveal anything to the cops.
Chandu was sure that he was not out of the suspects list just yet.
There might be some under cover surveillance going on around him.
So he has to be careful not to slip up any secret information or hints
of his true power.
In chaos zones anything can happen and it is not that easy to track
people.
Similarly in the hunting areas outside the town anything can happen.
This place has no surveillance and people die here on regular basis.
The cops are only responsible for the peace and security in the city.
Outside the city and within the chaos zone are not under their watch.
Naturally people of beginner’s level will start at the initial layer of
the dungeon that is under the guidance of some hired adventurers.
Well Chandu don’t need that as he was very experience than the current
chief strategic officer of the country.
Also there is one more thing that Chandu observer that is the old king
is still alive and as long as Chandu shows his identity then he can ascend to
high level right away.
But this time Chandu don’t want to be a servant instead he wants to be
an unrestrained person that is not bound by anything.
He want to meet the old king in equal status and that can only be
achieved through reaching higher levels.
The magic net also has limitations as there is no satellite in the sky
they have to work using the magic network towers.
The magic tower in the rated city is the main tower that is connected to
the other rated cities and the capital.
Then there are sub magic towers in the ordinary cities around that are
like a mini local net that Chandu is using right now.
For the lower level towns and other small areas did not have any magic
towers at all…..
