Chapter 49: level 0 test for Chandu
After clearing or not clearing level 0 in both cases they will be sent
directly to the entrance of level 1.
There they can go back outside or continue to move forward deep into the
level 1 and continue to the higher levels.
Chandu entered the black film with a single step without much thought.
What appeared before him was a pitch black serpent with magenta hue
coming from his scales that was coiled in a cave like structure.
It looked like an anaconda that he saw in a Hollywood movie in his
previous life.
The entire cave is big dark and there is light from the top where there
are holes that are as big as the size of the serpent before him.
Chandu used the finder skill to get the details of the serpent.
He was shocked to find that this serpent is a world devouring chaos
serpent in its miniature state.
Since, he worshiped the chaos natural god, this kind of thing to be expected
in his test at the level 0 of the chaos zone.
In the past life this thing did not happen as he was not qualified to be
the true follower of the chaos natural god.
But this life it is different and he possess the qualification.
This also means that the rewards that he can get from defeating this
serpent are far greater than that of others.
With these thoughts Chandu’s eyes lit up.
He wanted to sneak up on the sleeping shake but when he entered the
large dome like area the snake woke up and looked at Chandu with its crimson
red eye with golden yellow iris.
It gave it an in explicable charm but it was quite deadly.
Chandu did not panic as he has seen even a bigger serpent in his
previous life but the look and the eyes of this serpent were very hard to
ignore and there is a strange pressure coming from its eyes.
Chandu stepped forward towards the serpent and the serpent also moved at
a quick pace opening its mouth wide wanting to swallow Chandu whole.
But Chandu was moving without any panic or fright like walking leisurely
in a flower garden.
He did not have any weapons on hand except for a metal rod stored in his
storage space that he bought yesterday.
This was to be used as a weapon.
He don’t have to fear as he was going to use his self made skill of
finger tapping using this metal rod as a stick.
This is a highly refined magic steal alloy that has a good gripping
power and can be made into a sword or a spear type magic artifact.
Since it was an unfinished material, it only has a blunt edge.
That is enough for Chandu to kill this giant snake.
The snake pounced at Chandu with it mouth wide open revealing its two
main poisonous fangs and many sharp teeth in its mouth.
For a normal person it can become a nightmare but for Chandu it was
nothing.
He did not make any excessive movements but to side step a little.
It did not depend on agility, strength, stamina or reflexes but just
experience in dealing with this kind of chaos monsters.
The movements looked smooth as he stretched out his hand holding the
metal rod to gently tap on a few spots on the body of the snake from the side.
The special skill set has activated and Chandu accurately tapped on the
energy centers and nerves of the serpent.
In the next second the serpent fell down like a rope losing its support.
It did not die, only lost the capability of the movement as its nerve
centre and magic energy passing Nadi was a mess right now.
This is the most terrifying thing about Chandu.
As long as the other party is not super strong enough to block of his
tapping, it is practically impossible win against Chandu.
For this very reason and his see through capabilities his enemies never
tried to fight Chandu in his previous life.
As he did not have a family there is no one to take hostage of to
threaten Chandu.
So Chandu was an invincible existence in his level and few levels above.

The chaos monsters only have instincts and did not have self thinking
capabilities if they are low leveled.
The high level bosses at the ever tenth, hundredth floor and some
special cases show wisdom.
This snake showed the sign of fright.
This means it has wisdom.
Well Chandu did not care or spoke anything.
He just placed his hand on the top of its head and activated the devour
skill.
The skill activated but just after a moment it was cut off.
The serpent vanished into thin air leaving only drops that should come
after killing it.

This is what Chandu thought.
In the previous life he did not have devour skill so he did not see this
kind of peculiar thing happening.
The things that dropped down are very interesting to Chandu.
First is a small pile of coins,

2x silver coins

to one side.
