Chapter 81: underground tunnels
This reasoning is enough for Chandu to believe that the things will turn
into many twists from now on.
He has two choices now.
First is to go directly to get the opportunity.
This can be dangerous because of the interference of the will of the
world.
Second is to wait for the protagonist to come here and then follow him
to the opportunity.
This will be a little less dangerous but he might lose the chance of
obtaining that opportunity.
So Chandu did not stop but
moved along the direction of the opportunity.
He has some doubts that the
opportunity might not be here and on the other side of the earth.
That is the disadvantage of
the finder skill.
Using it to find something
out of its range is very problematic.
If there is a bigger
opportunity in that direction then it will simply point out in that direction
endlessly.

wind endlessly Chandu has set a 5 kilometre limit.
During a normal fight for a
level 10 adventurer the maximum distance that they can cover is around 5
kilometres.
So this is the limit for the
opportunity that Chandu is looking for.
If the opportunity is beyond
that then it is simply a wild goose chase.

like that Chandu would gamble the chances to get the opportunity by following
the protagonist.
As he moved in the direction
of golden radiance, he managed to reach an area where there are dense trees
with deep groves.
Chandu suddenly felt found

trees.
As he moved he found deep
holes on the ground beside the roots of those trees.
The location from the finder
skill is suggesting that Chandu should enter these holes into the underground
area.
Chandu is currently not a
strong person so he has to make sure that there is nothing here that can kill
him.
The underground area might
contain snakes, worms, ants or anything.
No matter what it is it
required a hole that is of 1 meter in diameter.
Even though Chandu has vast
experience he is currently very weak and he has to make sure to not to attract
the attention of a strong beast or monster.
Fortunately his previous
preparations are working fine.
The camouflage suit that he
is wearing is specially made for high durability and defence.
Other than that it has the
capabilities to hide his presence from most of the monsters.
The only drawback is that this
suit would need recharging which requires 1000 tier 3 magic crystals for one
full charge.
One full change will only
last for 30 hours from the start of the usage.
There is no way to stop it
and use it later again saving the change.
Until all the charge is
drained from the suit.
It did not have any magic
gathering formation on it as most of its surface is filled with camouflaging
formations.
Even though 1000 tier 3 magic
crystals looked simple but its wealth value in gold coins are over 30 thousand
gold coins.
Simply put the total amount
that Chandu plundered from the new moon city is only 100 thousand gold coins.
From this one can understand
how valuable the magic crystals are.
Well since it is a rare golden
opportunity and saving of his woman, he can only bite the bullet and go on with
the activation of the special suit.
Since it is like that he
better complete all he wanted to do in one fell swoop.
So he decided to take a
special pill that would let his body work without exhaustion for the next 24

Since Chandu has already

Chandu did not understand the
vague meaning of the finder skill.
Well some times when things
reach higher level like the golden opportunity, the low proficiency finder
skill cannot give accurate answer to him.
With the trust in the
camouflage suit Chandu decided to brave it and enter the small holes in the
ground.
The distance between him and
the golden opportunity is only 200 meters.
He doesn’t have to fear the
dark because of two things.
First is the night vision
skill which is a low level skill that is useful in the night scouting and other
things in the dark.
Second is the newly acquired
chaos eye on his forehead that can perceive the breath of the living organisms
in the surrounding and their mental order or feelings.
Finally after getting down in
to the hole he saw many underground tunnels.
He has avoided the tunnels
that have the breath of danger while he moved towards the direction of the
potential.
Even though it is completely
dark here where an ordinary person cannot even see his fingers, Chandu can see
everything as if it is as bright as a day.
The ground is damp and is
covered in various underground vegetation and strange grass.
There are sharp rocks and
bolders supporting the tunnels which are covered in moss.......
